The state of Illinois requires that all schools teach Internet Safety as part of their regular curriculum. Last year Sarah Migas, with the Office of the Attorney General presented a workshop on Internet Safety to all our students. This year we have designed a workshop that address the issues that teens face most.
This year's workshop is student-centered, involving students reading and reflecting on primary source documents and case studies related to various Internet safety topics. Students will then share their reflections in a whole class discussion designed to get students talking about issues that matter most.
